Anne Heche's second memoir, Call Me Anne, was published posthumously in January 2023. The manuscript was completed by Heche shortly before her death and was revealed to be a sequel to her first memoir, Call Me Crazy. CiA has developed several profiles, which are related to dedicated application fields. Historically, most of the application-specific device profiles support just CANopen CC as specified in CiA 301.
The following application-specific device profiles have been developed:
CiA 412 series: CANopen profile for medical devices (automatic x-ray collimator and dosemeter)
CiA 414 series: CANopen profile for weaving machine feeders
CiA 420 series: CANopen profiles for extruder downstream devices
CiA 425 series: CANopen profile for contrast-media injectors
CiA 434 series: CANopen profiles for laboratory automation devices (e.g. dilutor, dispenser, pumps, heating, cooling, and shaking units)
CiA 444 series: CANopen profile for container-handling machine add-on drives (e.g. spreader to crane, spreader for straddle carrier)

U.S. Representative Jackie Walorski (ANTI-TRAFFICKING ADVOCATE) along with two of her staff members and another driver, was killed in a car accident in Indiana on August 3, 2022. The crash occurred near Nappanee and involved a vehicle Walorski was riding in and another car. Initial reports indicated that Zachery Potts, a staffer in Walorski's vehicle, was at fault for the crash. A final report from the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office concluded that Potts was driving left of center with a contributing factor of excessive speed, resulting in the collision.
The actor Paul Walker died in a single-car accident while filming the Fast & Furious movies. He was a passenger in a Porsche Carrera GT driven by his friend Roger Rodas, who was also killed in the crash. The accident occurred in November 2013. Traveling between 80 mph (130 km/h) and 93 mph (150 km/h) in a 45 mph (72 km/h) speed zone on Hercules Street in Valencia, a neighborhood of Santa Clarita, California, Rodas lost control of the car and crashed into a concrete lamp post and two trees off the road, catching fire within seconds after impact. The investigation concluded that the car's speed and age of the tires were the primary reasons for the crash.
